Kenya have gone top of the Mapinduzi Cup 20225 table after picking a 2-0 win against Tanzania in a match played on Tuesday night at the Gombani Stadium in Pemba, Zanzibar.

Boniface Muchiri and Ryan Ogam scored two second half goals to ensure Kenya picked maximum points and go top of the log.

Tanzania had a chance to pull a goal back, but Offen Chikola with only goalkeeper to beat the Harambee Stars goalkeeper.

Kenya now lead the log with 4 points and a better goal difference that Burkina Faso who have the same number of point.

On Thursday Tanzania will return to action against Burkina Faso, while Zanzibar Heroes will face Kenya on January 10^th, 2025. The final will be played on January 13^th, 2025.
