Zanzibar’s assistant referee Nasir Siyah was in action as Kenya battled Grenada in the Group A play-off match of the FIFA Series played on March 30st at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda. Eight teams for Muungano Cup 2026 in Zanzibar

The Muungano Cup 2026 (Union League) has officially been launched and eight teams will participate in the tournament. Young Africans SC, the defending champions will be one of the teams in the competition slated for April 21-27th at the New Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar. Tanzania, Rwanda to host CECAFA Zonal Football tournaments in 2026

The Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) has announced hosts for the six competitions to take place in 2026. After going through the bidding process, Tanzania and Rwanda have been selected to host a total of six tournaments.
