Tanzania giants Young Africans SC will kick start their Muungano Cup 2026 (Union League) Cup with a match against Mwembe Makumbi City FC.

In the draw conducted on Sunday, the 2025 winners Young Africans SC where drawn to face the Zanzibar Premier League side in the opening match slated for April 21^st at the New Amaan Complex.

The second match will be played between Zanzibar Premier League table leaders KVZ FC and Azam FC the next day at the same Complex.

Two matches will be played on April 23^rd with Mlandege FC facing CECAFA Kagame Cup reigning champions Singida Black Stars FC, while Simba SC face Mafunzo SC in the second match.

The semi finals will be played on April 25^th, while the final will be played April 29^th at the New Amaan Complex.

The tournament which will bring together eight teams from Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar is played to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Union.
