KMKM SC have failed to progress to the group stage of the 2025/2026 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.

After losing 2-0 in the first leg, the PBZ sponsored Zanzibar Premier League side suffered a heavy 7-0 defeat to Azam FC I the return leg of the second preliminary round played on Friday at the Azam Complex Stadium.

Three players Iddy Nado, Japhte Kitambala, and Abdul Sopu netted a brace each, while Pascal Msindo also got his name on the score sheet.

To reach the second preliminary round KMKM SC ejected Djibouti’s AS Port, while Azam FC saw off El Merriekh SC Bentiu from South Sudan.

KMKM SC will now return to concentrate on the PBZ sponsored Zanzibar Premier League.
