Malindi SC beat KVZ to reclaim top spot in PBZ Premier League

Malindi Sports Club have defeated KVZ FC 3-0 to reclaim top spot on the 2025/2026 PBZ Premier League table.
After a goalless first half in a match played at the Zedong Stadium on Saturday, Malindi SC returned a determined side.
Ramadhan Mponda gave them a 52nd lead, and Shafi Omary Lumambo made it 2-0 after 72 minutes later.
Ajib Mohammad put matters beyond doubt with a third goal after 75 minutes to ensure Malindi SC secured maximum points and reclaim top position.
In another match played on Saturday Polisi Fc defeated New Stone Town FC 1-0 with Rashid Moh’d scoring the lone goal.
After six matches played Malindi SC are top of the table with 14 points, while Uhamaiji FC who have a game in hand have 13 points.
