Fufuni FC beat Mlandege to reclaim top spot in PBZ Premier League

Fufuni FC have reclaimed top spot in the 2025/2026 PBZ Premier League.

The highly motivated Fufuni FC side defeated former champions Mlandege SC 2-0 in a match played at the Mao Zedong A Stadium on Sunday.

In the second League match played Polisi FC defeated New Stone Town FC 3-1.

The win sent Fufuni FC top with 41 points after 22 matches played. KVZ FC who have played 21 matches are second with 40 points, while Uhamiaji FC are second with 39 points.

The Zanzibar Premier League is sponsored by PBZ Bank.
