The Muungano Cup 2026 (Union League) has officially been launched and eight teams will participate in the tournament.

Young Africans SC, the defending champions will be one of the teams in the competition slated for April 21-27^th at the New Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar.

The tournament will bring together eight teams from Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Union.

Last year Young Africans SC beat JKU FC 1-0 in the final to win the Cup. Forward Max Nzengeli scored the lone goal.
