KVZ FC crowned PBZ Premier League champions

Army side KVZ FC have officially been crowned champions of the 2025/2026 PBZ Premier League.

After securing the title over a week ago, the KVZ FC side was crowned during an official ceremony held on Friday at the Mao tse Doung Stadium.

KVZ FC emerged champions after defeating Kipanga FC 4-2 a week ago.

The KVZ FC finished with 67 points from 30 matches played, and JKU SC came second with 64 points.

KVZ FC will now represent Zanzibar in the 2026/2027 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, and the regional CECAFA Kagame Cup to take place in Rwanda next month.
