Malindi SC held, fail to reclaim top spot in PBZ Premier League

Malindi SC have failed to regain top spot in the 2025/2026 PBZ Premier League after settling for a goalless draw against KMKM SC.
In a match played on Sunday, the two teams created several scoring opportunities but failed to finish when it mattered most.
The draw saw Malindi SC move to second place with 15 points from 7 matches played. KVZ Fc who beat Polisi 2-1 on November 6th are top of the table with 16 points.
Chipukuzi FC also registered their first win of the season stopping New Stone Town 2-1 in another match played on Sunday. Abdallah Mngwaly and Faki Mwalimu were on target for Chipukuzi FC who moved to 6 points, but remained 13th on the log.
