_{Khamis Abdullah Said, the chairman of the Mapinduzi Cup Committee said during a press briefing today that the tournament will take place January 1-13th, 2023 at the Amaan Stadium.}

_{The competition is played to commemorate Zanzibar’s Revolution day which is marked annually. The 12 teams that will take part in the Mapinduzi Cup 2023 include; KVZ SC, KMKM, Malindi SC, Mlandege FC, Jamhuri FC, Chipukizi FC, Simba SC, Young Africans SC, Azam FC, Singida Big Stars FC, Namungo FC and Aigle Noir CS (Burundi).}
