KVZ FC win 2025/2026 PBZ Premier League title

KVZ FC are the champions of the 2025/2026 PBZ Premier League.

The early pace setters emerged champions after defeating Kipanga FC 4-2 in a match played on Friday at the Mao A Stadium.

The win saw KVZ FC finish with 67 points from 30 matches played, while second placed JKU SC who stopped Chipukizi FC 3-1 collected 64 points.

Mlandege FC, the 2024/2025 champions who defeated New King FC 2-0 in their last match finished in 4^th place with 52 points, while Zimamoto SC came third with 53 points.

The teams that have been relegated include; New King FC, Malindi SC, Junguni United and New Stone Town FC.

KVZ FC who came close to winning the League title last season and came second will now represent Zanzibar in the 2026/2027 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
