Young Africans, Simba SC derby set for New Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar

Young Africans SC will host arch-rivals Simba SC in the first round match of the 2025/2026 Tanzania Premier League on March 1st, 2026.
The match anticipated fixture will take place at the now popular 15,000-seater New Amaan Complex in Zanzibar.
“We are ready for this encounter and we know it is a big match for our club,” says the Young Africans SC’s’ Information officer, Ally Kamwe.
Playing at the New Amaan Complex will not be new to Young Africans SC who also used the venue as their home ground for the TotalEnegies CAF Champions League.
Last season Young Africans SC also used the venue for their final League match against Dodoma Jiji FC.
New Amaan Complex continues to host several big matches including the TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup final and the CAF African Schools Football Championship.
