Zimamoto SC have stopped KVZ FC 2-1 to go top of the PBZ Premier League.

Hakim Khamis Ali gave Zimamoto the lead, and Mudathir Nassor made it 2-0 before the break at the Mao A Stadium on Saturday.

In the second half KVZ FC piled a lot of pressure and pulled a goal back through Michael Joseph.

The win sent Zimamoto SC top with 24 points from 12 matches played. KVZ FC remained in second place with 23 points from the same amount of matches played.

Action resumes on Monday with KMKM SC facing Junguni FC, while third placed JKU FC battle Chipukizi FC.
